How to create new name servers
How to create new name servers
Solution
If you have a domain name (eg xyz.com.au) and you wish to create name servers that are associated with this domain name, follow these instructions. It should be noted that this process is only required if you operate your own DNS servers and which to create host names for these servers. To create a hostname within a domain name - eg ns1.xyz.com.au you need to create a 'glue record' in the .au registry. TPP Internet can create these records for you, to request one please send email to
domains@tppinternet.com
requesting a host creation. When making such a request you should send the hosts that are required along with the IP addresses that are to be assigned to the host. Eg. ns1.xyz.com.au 203.1.1.1 ns2.xyz.com.au 203.1.1.2
