To transfer your .nz domain name to TPP Internet, please follow the steps outlined below.
Step 1: Obtain UDAI
The UDAI (Unique Domain Authentication Identification) must be obtained prior to initiating the transfer. When the domain was first registered, you would have received the UDAI along with the Certificate of Registration from the registrar you registered the domain through.
Should you no longer have the UDAI it can be obtained by contacting the current registrar.
Step 2: Fill in the Transfer Form
If you have an existing account with us simply log in to the 'Client Account' section of theOnline Management System and select 'Domain Transfers' from the menu and fill in our online transfer form. If you do not have an account with us, use our Online Transfer Form, available direct from our website.
If your domain name expires within three months of entering the transfer, our system will give you the option to renew your domain and will automatically renew the domain once the transfer completes. If you choose not to renew at this point, our system will generate a renewal invoice once the domain record has been created in our system.
Please note that .nz domain transfers are free of charge.
Once the online transfer form has been entered, the transfer will take approximately 2 hours to be released from the current registrar and completed. Please note by entering a .nz transfer request using our online transfer form, you are automatically authorising the transfer to occur.
The domain record will then be created in our system, and the registrant will receive a new Certificate of Registration showing TPP Internet as the new DomainRegistrar ofrecord. You will also receive the login details for our Online Management System which enables you to manage your domain/s online 24/7.
